Among these natural wonders, Colonial Creek Falls stands out as the tallest in both the continental U.S. and any U.S. National Park, with a staggering height of 2,568 feet. Not far behind is Johannesburg Falls, reaching up to 2,465 feet. (More on both later!)
While I would love to visit all of them, there’s only so many hours in a day, and I have other fun things to do in my home state of Washington. So, I had to pick only a few.

Getting to Falls Creek Falls is an adventure in itself, requiring a scenic hike through lush, old-growth forests that offer a serene backdrop and occasional glimpses of local wildlife. What to Take with You on a Waterfall Hike
Rain Jacket: Heading to Washington in spring? Brace yourself for the rain! Packing a compact, easily storable rain jacket ensures you stay dry and ready to explore.
